'I Not Rock And Roll. I Just Rock.' AMI

It's Sunday night and I am watching more My Name Is Earl. We are in season four, episode two- M.N.I.E. has great music, btw.
Mike is in bed w me working on flash stuff.
Ami is in her bed and Ollie is laying on my chest.

Ollie is being a fussypants. I think she has gas in her belly.

I feel so bad for her. My milk has come in full force and down her throat. I pumped SEVEN whole ounces from one boob today. That is almost a whole cup of milk in my boob.  It is insane!

Anyway... We packed and went through office stuff... It is a lot of junk and misplaced stuff.

Ami and I painted on some onesies for Ollie. I love hers.

We also met up w Garry and Bean at Castiglias. Going down Charles Street always reminds me of the old practice space. All those beers... Anyway...

911 Charles has changed. It is now a gallery. I barely recognised it!

I kept Ollie in the sling, snug as a bug. She stayed asleep the whole time at the restaurant and during our short walk around the block.

Tomorrow we'll go for another walk, maybe go to the grocery store... We'll definitely pack pack pack. This week is going to be crazy.

"Balls In Your Mouth..."

Yesterday, I got Ami a new toothbrush- Abby Cadabby!  It had matching toothpaste and she was so excited.
She's been so enthusiastic about brushing her teeth!!

Last night our car died.  Ami and I were on our way to pick up the Papa from work. It was drizzly and dark and the car died at the light on to the main road.

Elijah brought Mike to me and Mom came to bring Ami and myself home. It sounds transmissiony which is trouble. Anyway, Mike took care of things.  He is so freaking amazing.

This is my family in the early morning; they are so beautiful.

Mike took Ami to gymnastics where she did really well!  Mike said she followed directions and enthusiastically showed him what she can do.  She HAS been doing scales randomly throughout the house.

I got a little more sleep and did the dishes before our lunch at Guru with Larry and Moo..
Ami actually ate more than rice and naan this time!  She had dal and aloo methi and chana saag.

And of course, "Noodles."

Gabby met up with us after lunch and we went to Miller Farms for a hayride and pumpkin picking at the patch.

Bean!!!

Ami described the hay ride as "dunky, like the train!"   Bumpy?

Looking through the pumpkins!

We found some awesome ones!!!

While Mike and I were driving Moo to his car at Guru, Mike and I started singing, "Balls in your mouth, balls in your mouth..."
It's Jimmy Fallon's BP protest song (Tar)Balls in Your Mouth.  BTW, Eddie Vedder sings, too.

I think Moo was singing it, too...  It's such a good song!    Haha...

After we dropped Moo off, we stopped at Michaels for some paper and at Mike's shop for his paints.

He's preparing for a show he's submitting art for with the folks at Jack Brown's. The show is going to be at Foode in November.  It's really exciting :)

Mike and I were hungry for pizza so we stopped at Roma's and got some P-I-Z-Z-A....

...and some cute little squishy, bouncy animals from the machines.

We got home and Ami and Mike took a bath.  She specifically asked for Mike, not me.
During the duration of this long bath session, Mike called me in the bathroom.  Ami was singing, "Balls in your mouth..."

Ah...    Balls.

We had a Foode visit! Ami drew Big Bird.

And later on, Mike, a sleeping Ami and I, visited the Gils...

I love this picture.

Wednesday/Thursday Mini Vacation

Wednesday, Mike left early to help his dad put break down or put up a wall in his sister's house.
Ami didn't want to go to Story Time for some crazy reason and we were moving slow, playing at home... I decided that we should go to Wegmans for some snacks and such for the river as well as lunch for Mike and his dad.

I got Mike and Ami some brown rice and soy beans and not dogs.. I also got some avocado summer rolls (rice paper), vegetable gyozas, and veggie sushi.

But what to get Mr. T?  I didn't want to get anything too unhealthy, although I was sure the salt content was high as it is pretty much anywhere food is prepared.

I asked for Jambalaya but the lady behind the counter gave me Gumbo (oh well) and a lemon pepper rotisserie chicken.

Mike laughed at me because I got his dad a whole chicken.
He said it's like a meat eater wondering to get a vegetarian... "So... do you want lettuce?"

Then Ami and I went swimming a little bit before it stormed.

Then Papa came home and we started our mini river vacation.

Thursday was a gorgeous day, starting with news that Bean was going to be born!!  We anxiously waited his arrival.  In the meantime, we went out on the water. Ami got her feet wet by the beach, then she, Mike, and Jenna went on the tubes.

Ami was so excited she got to play in the hot tub.

Then we went on a grocery run to make lunch.
We made tofu egg rolls and lettuce wraps and salad using fresh basil and cilantro.

Jenna took the dogs out and Ami wanted to go with her. She did and she and Jenna had some bonding time.
It was really sweet and it's nice Ami was so comfortable- especially being around all of those dogs (5 of them).

We eventually got the news that Bean was born.
We headed home to meet Uncle Billy at our house, secretly planning on taking him to the hospital to meet Bean and see Gabby and Larry.

Bean was going to eat, so we left for US to eat, intending on our coming back but it didn't happen.
It got too late.
Billy, Mike, Ami and I went to Castiglias first to get pizza, but they sat us in the middle of the hustle and bustle and ten feet away from the saxophone player. Service was lousy and it was hot so we just left before ordering.
Because I was thirsty (we hadn't even received water at Castiglias), we went to Hyperion and chilled there for a bit, enjoying the quiet and AC.

Then we picked up a pizza and went home.

I love talking to Billy. I really enjoy his company.

So... what an exciting and eventful couple of days.
I love my family and friends.
